NHS Staff

We currently support all staff using Near Me as their means of communication. We provide advice and often installation of video equipment for use by any software client such as Near Me or Teams.

Patients

Using Near Me, clinicians can offer virtual clinics where patients join a secure waiting area using a web browser on almost any device. The Near Me platform offers both one-to-one calls and can support group calls of up to 240.

Public Bodies

Most public bodies, including Scottish councils, housing associations and Citizens Advice bureaux, can use the Near Me platform for remote, yet face to face, contact with their service users.

Free!

The services we offer are fully supported by our free help desk. We offer support to any Near Me user and can extend that support to patients and other citizens (please contact us for details).

Public Facing Consultations

NHS Near Me – we use the Attend Anywhere platform to provide secure, web-based connections between patients and clinicians and between public bodies or 3rd sector organisations and Scottish citizens.

For NHS Scotland, any GP surgery or hospital clinic can apply for a virtual waiting area and invite patients to connect, where they will be seen privately and securely, saving them from having to travel to the GP or hospital for many types of appointment.
